Trying to figure out what twilight zone the characters are trapped in is the best thing about this story. This is the type of tale I like, people waking up in a strange and dangerous dreamscape where nothing is normal and anything is possible trying to make sense of the situation and find a way out. There are some interesting and weird happenings presented, not all of which are resolved in the end. The story is good however I think it could use some paring down. RecommendedProduct details

The Lost and the Damned John Keats Book 1 eBook Dennis Liggio Reviews
This book is gripping from page 1. It reads like a mix between a choose your own adventure book and an rpg. Part mystery, part adventure this book tells a story that's only possible in a nightmare. Compelling characters, lots of twists and turns, and a satisfying ending that left me wanting a sequel, or at least another John Keats adventure. You will not guess how this story ends and more than once you'll get chills from the detailed and demented creepers in this book. Must read! Even when I had to put it down I was still thinking about the characters and The story.
Great
Good
A tour through the worlds of a disturbed mind.
Interesting premise and started off very well but kind of flopped at the end. Disappointed that the only real female character is basically just a McGuffin and could have been replaced with an interesting lamp. Also at least one plot thread at the beginning completely dropped.
I'll admit that John had me confused at times. The trip through the mental hospital was exciting, intriguing, and fantastical.
Big fan of the private eye genre and this is a well-done yarn with lots of great twists. Kept me interested all the way through and I found myself immersed in it and losing track of time as I read it. I like Liggio's style and his characters and how he develops them. He's got a handle on his craft. Will look forward to more.
